EnviroBuild has been awarded the Federation of Small Business London Ethical and Green Business of the year award.

The London based award recognises innovation, enterprise and accomplishment within ethical and green business. The FSB awards are held in 12 areas across the UK and are judged by a panel of small business experts. EnviroBuild is now in the running for the National award that will be held in May.

This accolade sits alongside EnviroBuild’s repertoire of award finalist placements achieved last year, including the People’s Champion finalist in the Startup awards and the Entrepreneur for Good Awards finalist in the in the Natwest Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Aidan Bell, co-founder of EnviroBuild comments, “Sustainability really sits at the heart of business at EnviroBuild, so to be recognised as the FSB Ethical and Green Business of the year is a testament to everything that we do. Not only that, but being recognised by the FSB for our innovation and enterprise amongst the UK’s 5.5 million small businesses is also a real accomplishment.”

EnviroBuild stood out as their commitment to sustainability goes beyond their products; last year they protected over 40k acres of rainforest through donating 10% of their profits to the Rainforest Trust and Ocean Cleanup. The company only buys second hand furniture and IT equipment for their office and over 50% of employees cycle to work.
