The Project
With stunning views across the Atlantic Ocean, the client had designed a modern yet subtle project with the objective of building an elevated area that would make the coastal landscape feel like a part of their home.
The use of recycled materials was a key requirement for this project, without compromising on the high quality, aesthetic finish or uncomplicated usability of this new recreation area. In addition, the clients were approaching retirement and, given the large size of the decked area, required an anti-slip and maintenance-free material that would never need treating or staining.

Designed to optimize the panoramic coastal vista, this stunning property spans beautifully down a hill, across multiple levels, therefore fitting perfectly into its surroundings. With large glass doors and windows, Hyperion Frontier decking allowed for a textured wood-grain finish that complimented and enhanced both the ocean views and the house itself. The layout of the deck was paramount to the final vision, accommodating the complicated profile of the house, which juts in and out of the decking area. With the additional obstacle of a glass balustrade, the deck had to fit into a complex and challenging area, where the recommended installer and design expertise of EnviroBuild proved to be valuable.
