Pine Cottage Raised Decking

Our client Phillip and his son decided to take on an ambitious home DIY renovation project and construct their own garden decking in their large outdoor space. Working with a steep sloping garden, this required levelling out with a raised decking frame to support the deck boards and create an even finish.

After thoroughly researching the best decking boards based on quality and price, as well as visiting Regents Park Theatre to get some inspiration from a previous Hyperion decking project, Phillip decided that Hyperion composite decking would be the best option for them.

The Solution

Their choice of Pioneer composite decking in Stone, a grey timber-effect WPC board, perfectly complements the traditional, rustic feel of their family home. The large open-plan patio deck, which stretches almost the entire breadth of the house, is now the perfect outdoor living space for entertaining, relaxing and taking in the beautiful landscape.

To support the 105 m² decking a sturdy base was constructed out of large treated timber posts, while recycled plastic balustrades were installed around the edge of the deck to create a durable railing and high-quality finish.

The finished result is a stunning, long-lasting and low-maintenance terrace that Phillip and his family can enjoy for years to come!

Customer Feedback

“Kat (EnviroBuild’s Senior Sales Executive) has been very much part of the project from start to finish. She helped set up our viewing at Regents Park theatre and she then took me through what to order and how. It has made what is often the trickiest bit of a project a pleasure."
