Farmhouse Laminate Flooring

For this project, the customer required a new flooring to be fitted in the living area, kitchen, dining room and hallway of their residential property. Their preference was for an oak wooden flooring that was both durable and appealing. After ordering free Sisu samples, the customer spoke to an EnviroBuild flooring expert, who used their experience and knowledge to offer guidance in choosing the perfect flooring product for this project.

The customer decided on Sisu laminate in Natural Warm Oak for this interior space, professionally installed by Findlay Flooring, who were working with Sisu flooring for the first time. After this successful installation, Findlay Flooring immediately requested Sisu samples and resources for their future projects.

The Solution

With a wear layer of AC5 and an advanced tile thickness of 12mm, Sisu laminate planks offered the authentic natural aesthetics of oak wood whilst ensuring long-lasting durability and anti-scratch resistance. This Natural Warm Oak laminate flooring provides a beautifully crafted combination of light and medium brown tones, accompanied by a matt finish, to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in this home. With low maintenance requirements, Sisu flooring does not require harsh chemicals for treatment and cleaning, meaning that no harmful substances are leaked into the surrounding environment. This safe and eco-conscious approach is further supported by the contents of the laminate flooring, which is over 70% recycled material.

In order to effectively align with the flooring thickness, plinths and doors were carefully trimmed to size. This contributed to the smooth and effortless look of this newly installed floor, which was further achieved by using colour-matched scotia beading and floor profiles positioned around the flooring perimeter, as well as doors and fireplaces.
