How do I know how much I need to order?

In order to work out how much material you would require, we first ask you to take measurements of your proposed project area including any steps, planters, window or door openings you wish to include or exclude. You can then put these measurements into our easy to use online calculators, which will automatically work out how many materials you will require.

For our indoor flooring, we provide an easy-to-use material calculator on the individual product pages.

Alternatively, you can call a member of our team on +353 1 447 0406 to help work out your project quantities.

Where can I use your products?

The versatile product ranges we provide can be used in a variety of locations, both residential and commercial. Our inspiration page, which can be found here, gives you some ideas on where and how to use our products in your design.  Our social media platforms are also a great way to get inspired. Click here for our Facebook page, here for our Instagram feed, here to see our Pinterest boards, and here to follow us on LinkedIn.

To find out which products can be used in which areas, please consult the collection’s FAQ section.

What colours do your products come in?

To ensure the product you’re interested in comes in a colour suited to your style and design, most of our products come in a variety of colours.

Please refer to the collection’s FAQs to find out what colours are available for each of our products.

We also provide free samples and brochures here.

Will the colour fade over time?

Hyperion composites are all uncapped wood plastic composite boards, except for our Hyperion Frontier decking range. As a result, the deck boards will lighten as they naturally weather over the first 2-3 months of outdoor exposure before stabilising. The board lightening is caused by rain washing out naturally occurring dark wood oils (called tannins) and natural lightening from UV exposure. Find out more about tannins here.

The indoor flooring and porcelain paving ranges we supply are colour fast. This means they will not fade over time.

Please refer to the collection’s FAQs to find out more.

Are your products slippery?

No, they are not. While each of our products has been designed to the highest standard to ensure it is safe for the entire family to use, we recommend extra caution when your products become wet.

Find full technical specifications for our products here.

How do your products react when exposed to water?

All the landscaping products we supply, including composite decking, cladding, fencing, paving, and substructures, have been engineered to have a low absorption rate. They take on very little water which heavily reduces the likelihood of wet rot over a longer period of time and are more slip resistant.

Galleon garden furniture is weatherproof, and the rattan will not get damaged when exposed to water. We do recommend storing the garden furniture cushions inside when not used.

The indoor flooring products can be used in wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. This is with the exception of Sisu laminate flooring, which is not water resistant and when exposed to water they may start to warp.

Please refer to the collection’s FAQs to find out more.

Are your products fireproof?

Composite products do have a higher combustion temperature than timber which makes it less likely to catch fire. If you are looking to use decking on buildings over 18 metres high, we recommend using one of our non-combustible solutions to comply with the new legislations. These solutions can be found here.

The porcelain paving ranges we provide have been rated as Class A1 under the EN13501-1 test.

Sisu LVT has been rated Bn - s1 under the EN13501-1 test.

Find full technical specifications for our products here.

What materials and tools will I need to install my products?

Please find the material required for installation on the installation guides of our products which can be found here.

Do I need to have spacing and gaps between my products?

We recommend leaving gaps between most of our products and/or at the end of each product to allow for expansion and contraction as a result of changing temperatures. The correct spacing required can be found in the installation guide for each product here.

Do your products come with an installaion guide?

Yes. All the products listed on our website will come with an easy to understand and downloadable installation guide that we strongly recommend using.

The installation guides can be found here.

If you prefer a visual guide, we also provide how-to videos for some of our ranges which can be found here.

Do you have any installers you can recommend?

EnviroBuild has an extensive network of recommended installers who we trust to bring your plans to reality. We have chosen these installers for their high quality of work and professionalism, but as with any third party, we recommend that you follow your own precautions before entering into a contract with them. Please contact us on +353 1 447 0406 to get a few recommendations.

How do I clean my products?

Our products are engineered to be low maintenance so you can spend your time doing what really matters.

In the first instance, most of our products can be cleaned using a damp cloth. Dependent on the mark or stain you need to remove, the product may need to be cleaned in a different way. Please consult the care & maintenance guidelines for further guidance here.

What cleaning products or soap can I use?

Using a standard household washing up liquid will be effective when cleaning most of the products we supply. Please do not use any cleaners stronger than this or any cleaners containing a bleaching agent.

Can your products get marked?

The products we supply have been manufactured to withstand the elements, but to ensure their lasting beauty, we recommend taking extra care when moving furniture, plant pots, etc. around your decking and indoor flooring.

After installing Hyperion products, natural tannin water marks may also appear in the first 1-2 months. This is the natural tannin oils being released from the wood powder and will wash away over time or can be removed with warm soapy water. Find out more about tannins here.

Do your composite products require painting or treating?

Hyperion products are already coloured so do not require painting at all. Also, due to the plastic content within Hyperion products there is no need for any further treatment. This also makes it easy to clean.

However, if you prefer you can check out our online resource centre for our complete library of resources or you can contact us at ie-info@envirobuild.com with your question.

How are your merchants and installers selected?

We actively searched for installers and merchants in Ireland who came highly recommended. We then spoke to them each individually, asked them about their business, their company ethics and competence before working with them. Our partners are in constant contact with us and we aim to get customer feedback when possible.

What if a merchant doesn't stock what I need?

If you speak to a merchant/stockist about an EnviroBuild product and they neither stock the item or are able to order it for you, please contact us directly and we will try to put you in contact with a merchant who can help.

Can I buy EnviroBuild materials from a merchant not listed on your website?

If you want to buy from a merchant not listed on our website, ask them to contact us so that we can discuss setting up an account with them.

Can I use an installer not recommended on your website?

Yes of course, all our products are easy to install and do not require special training.
